Product Details

Euonymous 'Marieke' Trees are an evergreen shrub with oval-shaped, green foliage with their margins showing a bright yellow colouring. Commonly known as Ovatus Aureas, this tree has a bushy habit and provides great colour all-year-round with the green and yellow foliage being a continuous feature in Spring, Summer and Winter, before the tree develops pink fruit during Autumn.
Delivered in the form of a classic lollipop stem, this tree will grow to an ultimate height of 200cm and an ultimate spread of 150m. Taking between 10-20 years to reach this peak growth, it is recommended to situate the tree in an area which is exposed to full sun or partial shade. In terms of the tree’s toxicity, please be wary that all parts will cause severe discomfort, if ingested.
Planting this tree in any type of soil will suffice, but moist, well-drained soil is key. Watering this tree isn’t going to cause you much hassle. Euonymous Marieke will need watering during the first growing season – Autumn. Cutting any dead or decaying parts of the tree will also allow this plant to continue its fresh, variegated growth.
’Marieke’ are a part of the Euonymous genus. They show traits such as beautiful Autumn colour, followed by flowers and colourful fruiting.
