- Question : Is the helmet DOT certified?Answer : Yes, it meets or exceeds FMVSS-218 and DOT safety standards.
- Question : Is the helmet suitable for different head sizes?Answer : Yes, it comes in different sizes from S to XXL. However, the helmet size runs smaller than regular helmets, so it is recommended to choose one size up.

- Question : Are the Chin strap quick release or D ring?Answer : Thanks for your question. This helmet is designed with quick release strap.
- Question : Does the smoked glass secondary visor flip up if i just only want to use the clear visor?Answer : The sun shade is removable, comes with caps to plug the mounting holes. The clear visor flips up, but tends to only open up to eye level so you have to tilt your head back to see clearly. The sunshade moves up and down by activating a switch near the top left of the helmet. I suggest getting some sort of anti fog spray as this helmet fogs easy at a full stop.
- Question : Is this helmet youth or adult?Answer : This is a dual sport helmet for adults, men and women, not for youth, but you can refer to the size info to see whether it fits or not.
- Question : Is the inside cover front vent can be removed to provide more airflow and prevent vent fog?Answer : The inner sun visor could be flipped up into the helmet(almost invisible) or removed off the helmet as you wish.
- Question : What is the head shape of this helmet, is it round or oval?Answer : The back of the helmet is obviously round enough to get your head in and then it’s over towards the front ! Fits very good!
- Question : The back of the helmet list the ecer22-05 safety standard. does it actually meet this safety standard?Answer : The helmets sold in the US are DOT certfied and the helmets sold in the EU are ECE certified.
- Question : I bought two helmets, medium for my wife and XL for me, both are too tight in the cheek area; can we get smaller padding inserts for cheek area?Answer : I bought a XXL for that reason after reading some of the reviews. The helmet fit snug especially in the cheek area but was still very comfortable to wear. I’m sure after wearing it a few times the padding will break in and be much more comfortable to wear.I’ve only worn mine once so far for snowmobiling.
- Question : Does this helmet have a heated visor option for snowmobiling?Answer : Sorry for this helmet is not equipped with heated vsior at this stage. Optional heated visor is sold for ILM-129 helmet.

The ILM Off Road Motorcycle Dual Sport Helmet has proven to be a great option for both on and off-road ventures. The visor provides great optical clarity while minimizing distortion, and the sun shade is subtle and not intrusive on the rider's line of sight. The helmet is DOT certified in the US and ECE certified in the EU. The inner sun visor could be flipped up into the helmet (almost invisible) or removed off the helmet as needed. The helmet is designed with a quick-release strap and is for adults, not youth. While the helmet is generally comfortable to wear, some customers have found the cheek area to be too tight and may need to size up. Some reviews have noted that the helmet is relatively loud, but this is not a dealbreaker for most riders. In cold weather, the helmet can fog up at slow speeds, but the vents help alleviate the problem at higher speeds.
