Hello, we are the manufacture of HTH® Algae Guard. This product does not contain copper. We recommend adding a shock product such as HTH® Super Shock Treatment weekly, or more often depending on bather load and weather conditions.

Is this safe to use in ponds, fountains and water features? We have wild animals that drink from our water features such as birds and deer?

Works great and It doesn't seem to bother my Doggys who unfortunately like to take an occasional drink out of my pool. Lol. I would say should be ok but be good to research algecide effects on pond and surrounding wildlife.

Does this product have copper in it?
