It is sewing thread which is very thin for beads. I have crochet with sewing thread. I used three or four strands at a time.

What can I do to make these thread spools stop wibbling on my sewing machine as the hole in spool is too big?

You could try a cone adapter. These can fit on your spool holder (depending on your machine). Or, a weighted spool holder. These can hold anywhere from 3 to 20 spools.

On the header it said 12 spools but on the description it said 10 spools. How many is it? 12 or 10?

I believe the correct count is 10

Usually the end is on the top or bottom of the spool
