Does this work when oriented in line with the t-track?

Yes, It works with T-track system, 90, 180 and 45 degrees.

Mine is a 5/16 X18 and works fine in standard T-track.

Will this work with Kreg Klamp track?

It would depend on the slot of the T Track. However in some cases you could file the T that's fits into the T Track to allow it to fit. I've had to do that on a few items I've purchased for the T Track table top I made.

Will it work in kregg track?

It might, but if not just file or grind the T on the elongated sides to allow it to fit. I've had to that a few times to make the item fit my T Track.

Can the T-Bolt be removed, and just a 1/4x20 thread used?

Yes, it is possible to replace this bolt.

Will this upgrade the K5 as well or just the K4 Kreg system?

This would not work with the K5

The Armor-Tool B7-IL Auto-Adjust In Line T-Track Clamp is a well-made clamp that works well on CNC tables and assembly tables. It is easy to use and appears to be of good quality. However, it may not fit certain fences and tables, such as Jessem or Incra fences. The T screw may also be too small for some CNC tables with thick spoil boards. Some users have found that it doesn't grip the T track securely and comes loose easily. There have been mixed reviews, with some users finding it useful and others considering it useless.
