One thing you might try is to have two of the three legs of the stand face towards you when you hang the backdrop which will help to keep it straighter. Even though there is a slight curve in the drop, it does not show when taking photos using the proper lighting. One other thing to do would be to lay it flat on the ground with weights at the edges to help the spring frame straighten out.
