The product works well on cloth, fabric, and leather materials but may slightly discolor the material. It has fast-drying properties, and it is sticky and seeps through fabric, so it should be applied with a quick, light touch. It is best to use a small amount at first and add to it if you need more. Tear Mender can adhere to the fabric of the bag and the patch, as long as they are both porous materials. Although it has its advantages, it tends to dry out quickly, reducing its shelf life.
