No, the pad will not adhere after continuous dishwasher washings.

No it does not hold cereal or soup it’s just for hard food.

For a child this plate will work, for an adult who scoops farther and picks up higher, I would not suggest it. It is 8" which is actually more of a desert plate than a dinner plate. I was disappointed for using it for adults, but the younger children it will work well for. As for the height, not enough.

I have not tried the microwave or dishwasher.

However, online reviews suggest that this product may be more suitable for children than for adults. While the bowl has a non-skid rubber pad for stability during eating, it is not microwave safe, and the pad may detach after repeated dishwashing.
