Will this work with windows 7 software?

Yes I use it on a computer that has Windows 7, and it's working fine. I did have a problem for a short time, but, it was my sound card and not the Dragon.

Does this work with windows 8?

I don't know why it wouldn't. I have Windows Vista professional, and it works just fine for me. I would assume that it would work with all Windows products.

Compare dragon to windows speech recognition?

I tried Windows Vista speech program and nearly threw my laptop out in the yard! It was SO frustrating, adding words when I would take a breath, trying to predict what I was going to say. Dragon didn't do that. We are still learning each other, but I will say I prefer it to Vista. Hope this helps.

Very simple-insert the cd and follow the directions. It takes about 30 minutes to set up and configure to your speech pattern to get started. I have been in computer tech for over 30 years, and this program impresses me!

It may as long as you have a faster programming thab XP Pro but I don't recommend it because it screwed up my HP computer and it cannot be removed after installation and it can destroy your driver software.

Can I use dragon with my I pad?

Unfortunately, I can't answer that question since I don't use an I pad. I use a desktop computer. Maybe someone else on the list can answer your question. Sorry I couldn't help you with that.

Does this work with kindle fire?

It does not work with a kindle fire because it has a cd to load the program and the tablet does not have a slot for it. so no it dosen't work.
