Donâ€™t know about using these on the grill, havenâ€™t tried that, they work great in oven. They have some on Amazon that you can use on the grill, they are cast iron, Iâ€™m going to get me two of those in a few weeks.

How deep is each well?

I was worried about that too, but everything works fine, I use single oysters, not clusters.
