This DC-DC buck converter is a small and useful device in electronic projects, allowing the conversion of a voltage input into a suitable output. In use, these devices are susceptible to overheating, but some users have put protection in place to prevent them from burning out. One user did not have success with this product, finding that it blew almost instantly, but most other users had a positive experience with this item. However, the absence of the ability to go below the input voltage is a significant drawback of this product.
