No handle. Only a knob to hold on to. Knob has a threaded hole for pole attachment and pivots left and right and up and down.

Yes it came with a pad, but I also bought extra ones separate. approx 3 inc by 2 inches but not 100% sure as its in d attic. But d website shud give the exact measurements. It is great though, bought one for my mam too.

Will this work with textured walls (orange peel)?

This would not work on a textured wall. They are very good at cutting in edges on a flat surface.

Does this work to edge a wall for a cathedral ceiling using a 12" extension pole?

I tried using it with an ext. pole to edge the wall along my high ceiling, disaster! I have popcorn ceilings so that may have been the culprit. I went back to a regular edger that does not swivel.

Is the product exactly as on the picture? Same for refills?

Yes, it is the right size and everything. Although I did not find it that useful because paint still gets everywhere.

can this be used with oil based urethane?

The paint is applied to a nylon pad, so any type will work. I roll some paint with a roller and then run the edger through the wet paint and then along the edge.

Can this be used with an extender pole for high ceilings?

Yes, typical paint brush extender, garage broom handle or even kitchen broom handle will work. I used my garage broom handle to reach the top of my ceilings.

how do i lock the swivel on this? I want to use it on a paint extension pole but it keeps turning when I put it up to the edge.

Forget it, I was very disappointed in this edger, junk.
