Norton Editorial Review

The Norton 8" grinding wheel has received mixed reviews. Some customers have had issues with loose plastic center bushings leading to the wheel being out of round, poor packaging leading to chips on the wheel, and the wheel not being true axially or radially. However, others have found the grinding wheel to be perfect for their needs, with a removal rate that is perfect for mild steel and relatively quiet. It is important to note that this wheel is not suitable for use on wood.The RPM for the grinding wheel can be ordered to suit specific needs. Ultimately, while the Norton grinding wheel may work for some users, it is not without its drawbacks and customers should exercise caution before purchasing.
