From my experience the answer is NO. I use these emitters to control multiple displays by connecting them to an external controller system in place of using a remote. Otherwise you run into the problem it looks like you are trying to avoid with having the same displays mounted in close proximity and needing independent function.

Will this help from controlling two tv’s at the same time with both tv’s using ir transmitter and receivers?

To control 2 tv with your equipment you need a IR dist. system. Calrad 92-160 ir kit will control 1 tv. You need to add a 92-165 extra IR receiver for ther 2nd room. The 92-150 covers will help keep the ir emitters on your equipment.
