Otomedius Excellent for Xbox 360 is a mixture of Parodius and Gradius, offering a decent gaming experience for those who enjoy shmups. The game features excellent art and anime girls. However, several Cons make it less appealing to some players, such as the inability to distinguish items from non-items, making it difficult to know what can kill the player. Additionally, bosses are cowardly and run away if you can't defeat them in a certain time, and the weapons are just peashooters, which is quite frustrating. Overall, Otomedius Excellent is not as good as other shmups such as Touhou or Thunder Force. The game is sought after by fans due to its rarity.
