Zoo Med Forest Floor Bedding

Zoo Med Forest Floor Bedding is a great substrate for reptile owners, especially those with tortoises and ball pythons. It's made of 100% cypress mulch and helps hold humidity while still being mold resistant. It is also a great value for the money. The substrate is loved by many owners as it gives their pets a rougher texture to move across to help remove their shed. The forest floor bedding is also great bedding for box turtles and has never caused any problems like puncturing. However, note that before use, the bedding should be baked at 300 degrees for a couple of hours to kill any mites, or an infestation of thousands of wood mites may occur.
