The Snappy Trap 1 1/2" Drain Kit is a great innovation that offers an easy way to plumb a sink drain. The kit comes with a flexible wall coupler and a reducing coupler for rare situations where the pipe coming out of the wall is 1 1/4". The manufacturer's website states that the system is compatible with garbage disposals, and the kit includes a rubber connector that goes from 1-1/2" to 1-1/4 inches. The melting point of PVC is well above that of boiling water, making it safe to pour boiling water down the drain without damaging the PVC. However, if you want to connect both a DW and RO filter discharge line, you will need additional parts. The Snappy Trap should work for under-mount vanity sinks as it is flexible enough to bend. When connecting to a floor drain, additional fittings may be needed to make the connection. Customer experiences with the Snappy Trap 1 1/2" Drain Kit have been positive overall. One customer claims that the kit is easy to install, and it worked well in a super awkward spot where the house was built in the 40s. On the other hand, one customer wasn't impressed with the flared connection surface and claims that it leaks.
