What size pools is this cleaner compatible with?

This cleaner requires at least a 3/4 hp swimming pool pump or 1600ghp to function properly.

Does this cleaner require any tools for installation?

No, installation is quick and easy and does not require any tools.

Does this work safely on pebble tec pools?

My only experience is with a fiberglass type finish. This is a smooth surface and my generic K C works very well.

How does this hook up?

You connect hoses to cleaner and then in the skimmer will have to remove the skimmer basket. This is usually used in a under ground pool.

Will this also do the walls?

My experience shows that the device will cover the walls, however, if your pool plaster is in anyway not smooth, and the device not balanced accurately, the plastic coating over the Zinc? weights in the bottom bar will wear away and there is a possibility of the device creating gray streaks along the bends/sides of the pool which are very difficult to remove. I reported this to the supplier but got very little response!

How does it attach to skimmer?

It comes with an adaptor that I was able to use for either my skimmer or my automatic vacuum valve on the side of my pool.

Does it work on plaster pool?

Yes my pool is plaster 16 feet by 45 and 40000 gallon I am very happy with this unit that is my opinion.

Does this work with a pebbletec pool finish?

My pool is diamond brite no issues don't see any issues using on pebbletec

What is the sound level of this device?

Almost non-existent. This device, or like we have fondly nicknamed it 'the alien', moves around by using he water suction resistance as a result of connecting it to the filter pump.

If you are having trouble with your unit, read through all the reviews for tips and tricks and you can get it working! mine has lasted 4 years???

Your unit must have had a stronger plastic coating on the lead weights inside the bumper bar. Mine wore off the plastic casing on the middle weight ball and the led inside scratched grey streaks all round my pool.
