I've been throwing my smoke buddys away and buying new ones when they become clogged and no longer able to blow thru. Even after i don't use it for a while, it will dry out so i can blow thru I again but smoke comes out the bottom, so it never works then came as when it was new. if i could clean them out, well it would be awesome!!!

Does the Mega Smoke Buddy work better than a paper towel tube with some Bounce dryer sheets and some duct tape?

Yes. It diffuses the smoke as well, hardly any smoke comes out and it kills the smell a lot. I put some dryer sheets in the mouth end of mine also.
