The Pikasola 3-Blade 400W Wind Turbine is sturdy and well-built with an Alloy frame. As shown in a customer video, it takes a higher wind speed to start than the Red-lantern model but it is still able to charge a battery. It has a cool sound at low speeds when cutting through the air when turning in variable wind conditions. It is recommended to properly size the wiring because it can push up to 30 amps in high winds. The wind turbine is not recommended to be used as a lawn decoration as it may burn out the device. One customer received a part that did not entirely fit, but the company provided a replacement part promptly. Another customer experienced difficulties with the blades, but customer service sent a new set free of charge.
