No, the candy comes with the box.

How many individual pieces?

It would be difficult to say how many pieces because the boxes are packed by weight and there are different sized candies in each box. The times I have bought them the candy was fresh and we passed the box around our family group of seven and each person had about 4 to 5 pieces.

Are these still edible or are they expired

All candy had an expiration date. It’s by a code, but I’m sure these aren’t expired as you can still buy these candies. There are stores that still sell these candies. Grandpa Joes is one. You can also find some of these in Hersey PA.

Where are the bit-o-honeys? those must be included! :)

Yes there's bit o honeys included in this. My dad loved those in his box
