Each measures approximately 1 by 3/4-inch. They were a perfect size and great for those who didn't feel artistic but wanted to participate. I would recommend getting permanent fabric ink for the stamp pads.

Can I use these to stamp on fondant icing?

I would say if you have edible ink, you probably could. They are definitely cute stamps!
