Question : What materials is the jump rope made of?
Answer : The jump rope is made with a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) black coated wire for maximum protection.
Question : Is the jump rope portable?
Answer : Yes, the jump rope is lightweight and comes with a carry case, making it easy to take anywhere.
Question : Is there a money-back guarantee?
Answer : Yes, there is a 100% money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the product, you can return it for a full refund.
Question : Can this be adjusted to incorporate shorter individuals. What is the best length for folks who are 5' tall?
Answer : The instructions only tell you the usual (stand on rope and adjust it so the end of handles are 6inches under collar bone) but if you're around 5'5 or under there will be lots of excess rope and this rope is not at all easily cut! Even bolt cutters wouldn't do it for me and when I eventually (finally) cut one end off I was left with a twisted mangled mess where it was cut!
Question : Can this be used as a regular jump rope? Meaning still for exercise, but not necessarily for crossfit.
Answer : Absolutely. I would not use this as a 'trick' rope i.e. crossovers, etc. But if you're just looking to do standard single understand, double understand, and alternating leg this is a solid jump rope.
Question : On the crossfit jr, is there a bearing or swivel that moves the rope around?
Answer : The handles 'swivel' and rotate at a 90 degree hang
Question : I received my jump rope with the pouch but no instruction manual or ebook. Was I supposed to get those items or not?
Answer : It should have come with an instruction pamphlet. The ebook link will be sent to you via email from someone at Master Of Muscle.
Question : I can't figure out how to use the screws to keep the handles on and adjust the length?
Answer : Don't touch the handles themselves. The wire is adjusted by sliding the stainless steel collar at one end of the wire towards the opposite end. Once you have decided the right length, re tighten the collar with the set screw and remove the excess wire with sturdy wire cutters or pliers with cutting jaws. At the end of this excess wire there is a little protective cap. Take this off and put it on the new end of the wire. It is recommended to follow the instructions given in a diagram. Hope this helps.
Question : Number one rated? By who???
Answer : WOD
Question : Is the 9' length the length of the cable itself, or is it the length measured from the ends of the handles?
Answer : The cable is actually 9 1/2 feet long, plus both handles combined are an additional 10 inches. Total length is 10 feet, 4 inches.
Question : Will this work for me if I'm 4'11' ' height? Thanks
Answer : It is too difficult to shorten. I don't recommend it.
Question : Are there instructions as to how to adjust for someone 6'? Can this be used on grass, slate, and cement surfaces?
Answer : You can adjust to any size that fits your needs. Instructions are included. It is recommended to use the rope on smooth surfaces.
