No. The bottoms of the chess pieces are not magnetic. This chess set is not meant for traveling. The pieces can be easily bumped or shaken from their square.

Can you provide german knights instead of regular knights (extra yugo knights still remain in the chess set)?

My set came with 4 extra knights 2 Queens and 2 extra pawn.

What is the total weight for this set?

I don't have a good scale to weigh, after lifting my guess is 8 lbs. This is a well made and heavy duty set.

Hello friends. Are the drawers secured or can they be removed completely from the chessboard when pulled out?

The drawers are removable without much difficulty. They are secured well by magnets in the back so they snap shut when closed. I find the set fairly well made. I would buy it again. It is nice to have the extra pieces and a place to put them.
