Question : Would this work for ich issue and other infections?

Question : I have a 29 gal tank with a Nano30 canister filter. Can i use this inline? I am looking for something to control algae blooms/green water.
Answer : It works really good for that. Takes about a week to clear up, but stays clear after. Just be sure to get the appropriate size pump and uv sterilzer.
Question : What would be a good inline UV stabilizer for a 65 gallon tank?
Answer : I have used a Coralife 18Watt unit on our 55 and 56 gallon aquariums, not much of a stretch for that power for a 65 gallon tank. It has been very successful in those applications, both of the units have been driven by API/Rena XP filters and have successfully maintained great control over algae and bacterial loads. Easy plumbing them into those systems return lines.
Question : Tried to change the bulb but found the receptacle to plug it into was corroded and disintegrated on touch. Can I buy a replacement? Have a 12x 500 gal
Answer : I had the same problem with mine and I just replaced it with the new version. I recommend getting the new one, it has double protection from the UV preventing water breach.
Question : Will this help with fresh water diatoms?
Answer : Not really, just free floating parasites and algae.
Question : So if this isn't able to be submerged, where can it be mounted in a 125-gallon sw tank? I have 2 pumps running a rio 2100 and 1800, and I have a sump.
Answer : You make a cut in your return line to the tank, with the clean water from the sump, as it would flow into the tank. You hook the flow in and the flow out to the two nozzles, so the green water with algae flows around the bulb in a corkscrew whirlpool flow, and exiting to the return, to flow algae and protozoa free water, as the UV rays cook everything.
Question : Which one is it up to 500 gal as stated in the product description or up to 125 gal as stated in the next paragraph?
