How does the sandpaper part stay on the drum?

The sandpaper part fits over the drum attachment and should be secure when you tighten the little screw at the top of the attachment.

Will these work on my hyper tough aq85000g?

These are not recommended as they slip badly and have cheap sandpaper and melted rubber. It is advised to buy Dremel original instead.

How does the sandpaper part stay on the drum for a different brand?

At the top of the drum, there is a small screw. You loosen that to fit the sleeve over the drum and then tighten the screw.
