Can this pet door be installed on a steel door?

This can be installed on a steel door or wherever you want to install it. One part installed inside and the other part installed outside with a sheet metal liner in between.

Can the single flap handle Houston weather? (Humidity, heat, storms)

These doors are well insulated as they have magnets that go up and down both sides of the flap, in addition to magnets at the bottom. It also comes with a very sturdy closing cover that you can use to close off the door in very severe weather.

Can it be installed in a stucco wall?

It can, but the hardware included with this door is meant for installations in regular people doors. If you have a wall that is a maximum of 8" in total thickness then you could get the wall mount version of this door that comes with the tunnel and hardware for the wall.

What are the hinges on the flaps made out of? I have 5 dogs and they are very hard on the dog door I currently have.

There is a metal rod at the top, and the plastic doors go through it. Magnets hold down the door on the sides. The magnets are adjustable on both sides. Not sure if that makes sense! Magnets are quite strong and can withstand bitter cold and heat.

Are the magnets strong enough to keep a rat out?

The magnets are strong, and nothing can come in once the cover is locked. It is also unlikely that a rat can get through it.

I have an adult mini aussie, which size should I buy? Can this be installed in a window (those kind of window that goes from ground to roof)?

The door size depends on the height and width of your dog. Measure the height and width of your dog and add 3 to 4 inches in height. The width should be at least 2 inches wider. It is not recommended to install it in a window.

Is this item actually in stock or are you bluffing? I have ordered twice and neither one arrived.

There may be supply-chain issues. But it is worth the wait.

If I purchase the bronze version, is the security locking cover bronze too?

The cover would not be in bronze as it only comes in the grey/tan color.

Can a small dog like a Jack Russell use the large door?

The Endura Flap is designed with a tight seal, and the larger sized flaps can be on the heavier side for smaller dogs. If you have small and large dogs sharing, you may want to consider getting a single flap version, or keep in mind that you may have to alter the magnet strength and do some extra training for the smaller dog. If your dog is timid, an Endura Flap may not be the best option. If your dog is outgoing and/or has used a pet door in the past, they should get the hang of it quickly.
