Are the 4 foot length not available in Stainless Steel or just not available?

Our stainless steel rear transom tie downs are only available in 2.5 ft length. We may look at 4ft variants in the future, but currently, they are only available in 2.5ft length.

If I wanted to take one of the hooks off, can I do that, or is the webbing permanently attached to the ratchet?

It is possible to push the folded over webbing back through the ratchet spindle to remove a hook. You would then need to push the folded over webbing back through the ratchet in order to use the tiedown. It is quite tight to push the double layer of webbing through the ratchet but it can be done.

Would these work for an 11,000 lb boat?

We recommend going for higher rating tiedowns than ours to be safe.

Are the hooks stainless as well?

No, the hooks are not stainless steel. They are PVC coated steel hooks.

Is the strap 2.5 ft and its a little longer cause of the hooks...or is it 2.5 ft from one end of the hook to the other end of the hook?

The 2.5ft is the webbing length, the length including the hooks is a little longer - including the hooks the total length is close to 3 feet. This allows for some webbing to be able to be wound on to the ratchet for tensioning.

What is the shortest they will adjust to?

The shortest length that these tiedowns adjust to is 12 inches.
