The Creative Grids 90 Degree Double-Strip Quilt Ruler - CGRDBS90 is a non-slip product that has gripper dots in the center and a non-slip gripper on the triangles and edges. This exclusive gripper ensures that the fabric stays in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miss-cuts. The ruler is meant to be used with sewn strips, and the guides help align the triangles. Once you have aligned it and cut along the angles, you have 3 triangles, two the same and one reverse. You can continue cutting and, with 4 similar triangles, make a square with 4 sides and a contrast center. Although it's not recommended for tumbler blocks made out of 5 inches squares, with 6 1/2" strips, you can get a 6" HST. Customers love this ruler because it is sturdy, easy to use, and easy to follow instructions. It allows you to create several different designs and makes sewing a lot easier, ensuring that your seams match perfectly.
