It would be whatever you mix the ratio to in a 5 gallon bucket or whatever you use. Really no way to control the vacuum it creates.

I pump out of a 5 gallon bucket.

How much water flow does this require?

We use a 1/3 hp pump for a 1 inch injector, hope that helps.

What is the diameter of the top fertilizer inlet? Not the threaded inlet/outlet, but the third one.

Depends what size you buy. The one for a garden hose is probably 1/4 inch I think.

The Irrigation Tube Fertilizer Mixer Injector is a basic plastic black agriculture tool that can be used outdoor in gardens, farms, and lawns. It comes in two sizes - 3/4" and 1" - and is designed to mix fertilizer into water using a vacuum. Based on customer feedback, the product works perfectly with full flow of water. However, using it at low volume/pressure does not create suction, which seems to be a common frustration among customers. While the product is advertised to work with soaker hoses, it may not be useful in that situation due to the lack of water flow to create suction. The thread type for 3/4" and 1" injectors is National Pipe Thread (NPT), and there is no check valve included with the product. The mix ratio is dependent on the ratio of fertilizer to water in a bucket, and there is really no way to control the vacuum that is created.
