Will all 4 tzitzit fit in the device or are 4 needed?

All four string fit in. So one device for each pair of tzitzis. This is the best invention for washing tzitzis in the washing machine. Works perfectly.

How do you wash a wool beged?

I'm not sure what a beged specifically is. If you are referring to a tallit katan that you are planning to wash in a washing machine, this will help keep the tzitzits in good shape. If you are hand washing it's not needed.

Is this safe for all washing machines?

Works just fine in mine. Can’t say for other washing machines. Also will want to wash on cold/delicate as hot will potentially shrink the garment.

Any idea how to fix them? I had them for a few years but lately they started to open in the wash and the tzitzits got all tangled.

The strings of the tzitzis do come clean. I love this gizmo. It saves me time and effort. I definitely recommend this product.

I had bought this item and i don’t know why but i closed it and when i put it in the washer the piece fell off and the tzitzit got all tangled why?

If the tzitzit aren’t in the grooves properly and the lock completely in the notch it can work loose. If everything is done properly it’s a very reliable item.

Does this fit with Tallis size thickness?

It’s pretty small. I have only used it with tallit katan tzitzit. Medium size tzitzit.

Do the strings come out clean after washing? will this work for any size (boy's) tzit tzit? any special washing instructions?

The Magen Tzitzit is for the strings shouldn't tangle during washing. It will work for any size of tzitzit you put in all 4 tzitzit up to the stems (string only). For washing machine only not dryer.

Instructions: (printed on the box as well) 1. Position the four Tzitzit in the slot at the base of the Magen 2. Wrap the Tzitzit around the Magen 3. Lock the cover in place with a half turn and place in the washing machine It doesn't get tangled.
