Yes I have a very active 75lb hound mix. We’ve owned this bed, that he loves, for the past 6 mos. & it is holding up beautifully. He jumps on & off it constantly. My initial view of this bed was, it will never hold up, but I was wrong!

What would you recommend for a 1 year old Grest Dane?

I have an 11 month old Great Dane that weighs 140 lbs and is 33 inches tall. I ordered the XXL and it fits him perfectly. I have not had an issue with his weight either. The bed is well made and I am very happy with it.

Will 2 dogs be able to lay down together?

Obviously depending on dog and pad sizes, but yes, more than one dog can be on the pad at the same time.

My older dog has short legs and bad joints. Is it possible to get a larger bed with shorter legs? Or can these legs be sawed in half?

Even my Chihuahuas can get on the bed. I did put it together, and feel certain you could cut the legs with the right kind of saw. The tubes are sturdy but not very heavy or thick.

Where can I purchase a replacement cover... my dog shredded it???

I was really considering this raised bed until I read there was no replacement cover. We have three raised beds we’ve had for 13 years. Have replaced the cover 3-4x. Please consider a replacement cover.
