The Hercules Violin Stand DS571BB is a lightweight and portable stand that offers easy handling and works well as long as placed at the correct angle. The retaining arms should stay in place with the scallop resting on top of the bracket to hold the violin in place. The base of the stand is not as sturdy as other Hercules stands for guitars. It is easy to use and reliable for instruments that fit properly.
