Will this fit a 15,000 ?

It fit our 15,000 btu unit, you have to install the duct air deflectors which are included.

Have a carrier ducted a/c, remote controled unit, that controls my furnace. what dometic 15000 btu unit would replace it?

You may order the control box and thermostat which will have your furnace controls on it. But you will have to run wires to the thermostat

Is this the control unit as well to turn on and off and set temperature? Or just a grill?

Will this fit on a 13,500 ac unit? i have a dometic 13,500 ducted ac but there is no downdraft slider near the intake. could i install this?

It most likely will fit because all roof AC units fit a standard 14" by 14" vent opening. I have an old 1993 class C MH that also has a ducted ceiling and a Dometic 13,500 Btu AC and this downdraft ceiling cover fit perfectly and is awesome in its performance. It came with the necessary metal separator and gasket material to replace the old one. The separator, separates the intake air from the exhaust air in the ceiling opening. I do recommend also buying a roll of aluminum duct tape to seal any gaps between separator and roof opening. Also, your thermostat must be on the wall because this has no thermostat controls on it.
