It depends on power supply. If powered by USB or AC/DC adapter, it does not have auto off feature. If powered by batteries, it has an auto off feature and cannot be disabled.

What do you do if it does not pass calibration?

If loading weight is not stable or you abort calibration, the scale will show ‘Err’ and automatically turns off. Ensure the protective pads are removed and recalibrate.
