Have any Query?

Customer Questions & Answers

  • Question : What is the inlet size of the PGP-ADJ?
    Answer : The PGP-ADJ has a 3/4-inch inlet
  • Question : What is the pop-up height of the PGP-ADJ?
Answer : The pop-up height of the PGP-ADJ is 4 inches
  • Question : Can the PGP-ADJ replace any brand of rotor?
Answer : Yes, it can replace any brand of rotor with a 3/4-inch inlet
  • Question : Does it come with the nozzle rack?
Answer : This is an official Hunter PGP-ADJ and comes with a pre-installed nozzle and rotor adjustment too.
  • Question : Does this screw into a one inch thread?
Answer : This is 3/4" Female Pipe Thread. You would need an adapter for 1".
  • Question : How do the numbers on the nozzle inserts correspond to a approx. distance?
Answer : The numbers are based on a flow rate. Based on pressure at the head and nozzle will determine distance. You can get a ref chart on the mnf web.
  • Question : Does it come with the 3/4 to 1 nipple reducer?
Answer : No, there is not a reducer or supplemental adaptor included. The receiving part of the Rotor is a 3/4 inch female receptor. I purchased a 3/4 to 1/2 inch adaptor to attach them to ground stakes for an above ground system.
  • Question : Iv got a leaking sprinkler, should i install check valves on a new replacement?
Answer : I had the same problem. I finally took each sprinkler head, took apart and cleaned each one. I also made a test jig to make sure the head did not leak before I installed them back in. I found small pieces of sand in the head that caused the leak. I was able to re-use the all the heads except for one that leaked water thus reducing the water pressure and kept the other heads from popping all the way up.
  • Question : The tiny hole an inch below nozzle is leaking water around the head. So, is head-to-head coverage needed?
Answer : Yes, head to head coverage is correct. I think the small hole is for depressurizing the head when water is turned off.
  • Question : I am trying to order the improved versions it says it can not be deliverd ? but the old one it ok ?from the same seller, lmk
Answer : That will depend on your water pressure, do you know your water pressure? also the nozzle you install in the Hunter head. When you get your water heads they should come with different spray nozzles and directions. The direction will help you a lot to explain the GPM.
  • Question : Is the spring included?
Answer : Yes, it comes as 1 complete unit. If your replacing one that you may have ran over with your lawnmower (wink wink) then all you have to do is spin the old one out and spin the new one in.
  • Question : Does this come with the adjustment tool?
Answer : In general, it appears that Hunter should provide the adjustment tool if you buy a 5-pack of irrigation heads .Otherwise you can purchase one for a few dollars. Also you can adjust the length of the spray with just a 3/32" Allan wrench.
  • Question : Do the screens clog up quickly? My water come from a spring and has some particulates.
Answer : I have never had one clogged and it will operate just fine without the screen.

The Hunter PGP-ADJ 3/4" Rotor Sprinkler offers precision watering capabilities with its adjustable arc and radius settings. Its automatic operation smoothly transitions through its arc, distributing water evenly and efficiently. The sprinkler head's customizable features account for irregularly shaped sections or specific plant beds along with the ability to switch out nozzles without tools, to adapt the water flow to different plant types and soil conditions. The Hunter PGP-ADJ doesn't compromise on aesthetics either, with its sleek low-profile design. The sprinkler head is easy to install, thanks to the clear instructions accompanying the product and showcases compatibility with existing systems. While the initial cost might seem higher, the longevity and performance of the sprinkler head justify the investment.
