Answer : If done properly, you can continue to build your nutrient solution to feed the algae culture as you harvest. With the initial media, it can fill up to 5 gallons and start 3x five-gallon tanks. With proper care, you can have an infinite supply.

Answer : To keep the culture alive, you need to add animal feed grade urea, rock salt, baking powder, wood ash, and iron. These should be added proportionately every time you harvest as replacement.

Answer : Yes, it is recommended to mix the culture somehow, either through bubbling or stirring.
