I returned this item. When it arrived, the USB charge input site was broken off and laying inside the base of the lamp. I did purchase from a different site, and the light is bright, almost annoyingly so because it shines straight out instead of up. It does have a dimmer feature. In the second lamp, the little finger light didn't work, so it was also returned.
