Despite being advertised for aquariums and ponds, it is not okay to return the test water to the tank/pond after using the solution, as it could harm the fish living inside. However, it is still an efficient and straightforward test that most people find easy to use. Some reviewers have stated that the solution does require good light to get accurate results. Reviews of the product have been mixed. Some customers have reported receiving the test kit damaged and leaking, but others have stated that it functions well and is easy to use. Customers have also noted that the chart is not accurate for reef tanks since it goes from 0 - .25, and there isn't a chart reading for anything under .25 besides 0.
