This product is a radiant barrier and vapor barrier with an R8 value that can be used on furnace plenums, soft-sided hot tubs, and as a wrap for stove pipes. It is not self-adhesive and comes in a roll that is 16 inches by 100 feet. Customers found it easy to use and install with a staple gun and trim to fit, although they note that the website was not clear about the amount of product for the price. Some customers used sprayed-on glue to make it adhesive-backed. One customer mentioned it was thin but worked to keep drafts out. Another customer tested the fire resistance and found it melted almost instantly, so it should not be used near significant heat sources.
