Yes, the cylinder is 1 1/8" long so it does fit a 3/4" thick door. It comes with various cams to use depending on if the door is flush or recessed in opening. The cams can be flipped over to accommodate the latching. I used these as a replacement on my RV storage compartments and on a data rack cabinet.
