HeatnBond Lite Iron-On Adhesive is a popular option for sewing and fabric crafts. It is not tacky on either side, so you need to melt the shiny side of the paper onto the fabric and then peel it off, leaving the residue on the fabric. One user suggests that it’s important to not use high heat or iron too long for successful results. Another customer asked if it’s suitable for holding a 3” diameter embroidered patch onto a pique polo shirt with frequent washing, but the response was to not rely on the adhesive alone and instead stitch it down. It is also not water-resistant or waterproof, and it’s not recommended to run this through a printer. The adhesive is 17” x 45”. Overall, customers seem to like the HeatnBond Lite Iron-On Adhesive for its lightweight properties, ease of use, and how effectively it bonds fabrics together without noticeable residue. The main downside seems to be that it’s not suitable for use on items that will be frequently washed or need to be water-resistant and that extra stitching may be necessary.
