I don’t know. Our carpenter told us what to buy, and he installed them and They worked great. We have a 22” from the floor to the ground and we bought a 27” three step frame.

What is the dimension from the base to the first step? 7 steps times 7.5 (rise) = 52.5 inches. 40.5 + 8.9 = 49.4" (from drawing) 3.1" difference. Help

From bottom of riser, where it sits on ground, to bottom of first step is 6 inches.

Can I extend two step to seven step stair stringers for more step (higher deck 80 inch)

I dont see anyway to connect them but lowes sells pylex 7 step steel stringer

Rephrasing: if using two 2X6 boards per step (5-1/2"), there is only 1 screw per board on each side. Are more holes drilled for each (ie, 4 per side)?

We drilled 3rd hole in the back and added a 3" board in the back then used their predrilled holes for the 2x6 in the front. So our steps are 8 1/2" deep. Nice width.
