Does the 1.5 belt clip accommodate a belt thickness of .37?

It will but it’s designed for a standard .25” thick belt. A new injection-molded clip will be available in about 6 months that accommodates ALL belt sizes plus it’ll be rotatable 0 / 45 / 90 degrees in both directions for all available units!

Is there any way to remove the belt clip?

You could drill out the rivets but that would ruin the tension of the internal springs that provide the tension for the bit kits.

Will this fit both bit kits?

Yes it will ! It will also hold just one bit kit when the other is removed due to the internal spring. The bit extension side slot also has a NEO magnet inside to secure the extension.

Will the leatherman bit driver fit in the same slot as the extender?

The sheath holds only 1 driver bit extender. Not sure why you would want to store a single bit in the extender when it belongs back in the bit kit, unless you are doing this for temporary convenience while using a different bit in the bit driver of your multi-tool. This specific product is for both bit kits + the extender.

Is this for the wave or surge?
