I was excited to receive these & got them all separated but they won't cut through any paper in my sizzix big shot. has anyone had cutting issues?

I retried mine so I could give a better review. The squares and circles cut very well. Detail butterflies and inner areas on flowers needed a bit more pressure so on one I used extra cardstock for shims and on the other I used a metal shim (shiney aluminum piece from the hardware store). I used a Cuttlebug and my layers were: bottom plate B, die facing up, CS, metal shim, plate C. Each machine is different so try adding a shim or two (without stressing your machine) and placing the cutting side of the die face up.

Will these dies cut through aluminum cans?

I haven’t tried it yet but I would say no!. I used bigz die to cut aluminum cans.

How do these dies do on a Spellbinders Platinum 6?

I use them on a Cuddlebug so a Platinum 6 should be fine.

can you use these dies in an AccuCut die cut machine?

I’m not sure!. I use sizzix big shot.
