Permatex 24125 Ceramic Extreme Brake Parts Lubricant is a high-quality product suitable for metal to metal contact. It should not be used on rubber seals and bushings, but on metal brackets that come in contact with brake pads. Copper anti-seize lube does not move well, and it can cause pins to jam because of large copper particulates. The same product can also be used on fuel injectors and glow plugs. This ceramic break parts lubricant is safe and efficient. Its touch and feel are similar to silicone, and it leaves no oil-based component. The high viscosity of the lubricant makes it safe for rubber and plastics use. The tube has enough for several jobs and is expected to last. Regardless, customers received less-filled bottles than expected.
