This controller is designed to work with 8fun/bafang motors, and it can work with a 3-wire, no hall sensor motor. The controller is non-programmable and does not have an output for an LCD. It does not have a reverse function, but it works with a PAS sensor only and with two-pin brake cutouts. Despite some negative reviews, there are positive customer comments that the product works great with their bike motor.
