There are two sides on the OCTOBUDDY DOUBLE. It’s designed to stay on either your phone case or a smooth surface depending what side is attached to what. 8)

If I put this on the back of my phone and toss my phone in my purse/bag will it stick to other things?

Yes it will ! It is pretty sticky so anything flat that is against it will stick

Does it stick only on mirrors? Also, does it damage the iPhone screen from having to press all the time?

I have mine stick to mirrors, certain walls, tables, and even the outside of my car. I have my octobuddy stuck to my case. I wouldn’t recommend sticking it to the bare phone. I have not had any problems.
