The NAD PP 2e Phono Preamplifier is a high-quality phono preamp designed to boost the signal coming from a turntable cartridge, making it usable by plugging it into an unused input on the back of your receiver or amplifier. The preamp features input sensitivity of 0.3 mv and can be used with a moving magnet or moving coil phono cartridges. It is also possible to output the PP2 to a computer to transfer record collection to YouTube. The tasteful unadorned exterior of the preamp is black with off-white lettering and looks great. The preamp is designed and engineered in Canada but custom manufactured to NAD specifications in China. The customer feedback on this product is mixed, with some customers reporting that the unit failed in less than two years. However, there are also a lot of positive reviews from satisfied customers who appreciated the device's high quality, stable build and sound quality. Some customers noted that the output level is quite low in relation to other sources, requiring a regular preamp in line afterwards. However, despite this, the sound was excellent, and there were no noticeable differences to the sound of their favorite vinyl. The preamp is easy to use, and the overall experience with customer service has been good.
