Fyi these sprinklers from Amazon didn't work for me the water spray comes out flat found rain bird nozzles at home depot that work perfectly ! Not sure if the adjusting screw actually works ( i gave up)

I have 4 sprinkler heads on my tree belt which is approx 4 ft wide so I'm looking for heads which shoot side ways more so then forwards. Do these fit my requirements?

They do make heads that are designed for like tree lawns where the spray shoots sideways but they're kinda hard to find

Yes - mine came with the basket filters. Very happy with this purchase.

What do the different colors mean?

The different colors indicate the spray radius of the head. The range from 3-15 feet or so. There's a key on the Amazon product page for the heads.

The quarter pattern is facing in the wrong direction. How do I fix that?

Pull the riser (not the whole sprinkler head) with your hand and rotate to the direction you want. Try to avoid using channel locks, etc.

Modtek Editorial Review

The Modek sprinkler heads are easy to install and can spray up to approximately 17 feet at 40 psi. However, the spray is a continuous fan of water and not a revolving pattern like Rainbird heads. Some customers had difficulty with these heads fully retracting into the sprinkler body or adjusting to the desired spray area. Some heads were also plugged internally, and there were ridges in the blue plastic that prevented the new head from fully retracting. Despite these issues, many customers were happy with the fitment, easy adjustability of the spray, prevention of water wastage, and ease of replacement.
